This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence in Summer 2027. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Work as part of a team to complete activities such as catalyst selection, performance evaluation, mapping and proof-of-concept testing, and data analysis. (The exact scope of activities will depend on the stage of the development cycle during your placement.)
- Support the procurement and shipment of parts between different test facilities.
- Collaborate with the Test Operations function to produce test instructions for test programs. Analyze test cell data to evaluate performance across various test types and scenarios.
- Participate in cross-functional design reviews for catalyst hardware. This includes contributing to review materials, such as requirements definitions and test results, and attending review meetings.
- Support simulation activities to evaluate catalyst performance using software such as AVL BOOST/Cruise, Simulink, and MATLAB.
We are looking for applicants pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or other STEM-related fields. - Good knowledge of MATLAB and MS Office (Excel and Word) is required.
- A methodical, data-driven approach to problem-solving, strong teamwork abilities, and effective communication skills are essential.
