Job Title: Pipe Layer - Sheffield Location: Sheffield Start Date: Immediate start (commencing next week) Duration: 8 weeks Job Description: Norse are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipe Layer to join a live groundworks scheme in Sheffield, starting next week on an 8-week contract. The successful candidate will be working on drainage/utility installation at depths of 2-3 metres, so previous experience working in deep excavations is essential. Duties will include:

• Laying pipework accurately to line and level in excavations 2-3m deep Working from drawings/spec to install drainage, water, or utility pipe runs Jointing and connecting pipes to the required standard Working safely within confined/deep excavations, following all site safety procedures Assisting with shoring, trench boxes, or other excavation support systems as required Backfilling and compacting once pipework has been laid and signed off Liaising with the site team/foreman to ensure work progresses
to programme
• General groundworks duties as required Requirements: Proven experience as a Pipe Layer, ideally with deep excavation experience (2-3m+) Valid CSCS card Confined Space / SSSTS (desirable) Own PPE Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic To apply, please send your CV or contact to us for more information
