Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with alternate weekend working About the Role At Wold Farms Ltd, a subsidiary of Cranswick, we are a leading player in the UK's agricultural sector, breeding and rearing pigs to RSPCA Assured standards. An opportunity has arisen at our outdoor unit for a Pig Stockperson to join the team. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join our fast-paced ever-growing business with a bright future. Key Responsibilities
- Working with pigs on an outdoor unit to ensure their health and wellbeing including feeding, moving, serving and handling the pigs
- Working to high standards of animal welfare
- Maintaining the condition and appearance of the farm, creating a welcoming environment for both animals and visitors
- Operate state-of-the-art farm machinery, adding a technological edge to your daily tasks About You
- Experience with livestock or an agricultural background is preferred
- Ability to prioritise and complete tasks with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivation and a good work ethic
- Less experienced candidates to be open-minded and dedicated to learning the role responsibilities Pay and Benefits
