PI Senior Buyer - EU

We're looking for a PI Senior Buyer to come join us, based at Runcorn. In this role you will procure Parallel Import (PI) products from EU suppliers to maximise sales and margin across the group, while supporting the development of category and channel strategies. Working closely with customer-facing teams and key stakeholders, you'll help deliver commercial objectives while maintaining strong supplier partnerships and ensuring product availability. • Source and secure Parallel Import products from EU suppliers at the most competitive prices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support service, availability and commercial performance.
• Work closely with UK trading, branded and commercial teams to maximise Parallel Import service levels while managing stock effectively.
• Support category, pricing and supply chain objectives to drive sales and margin growth.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including buying, pricing, finance, inventory control, telesales and depot management teams.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry and regulatory requirements associated with Parallel Import activities.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of group and channel sector strategies.
  
  Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, healthcare or Parallel Import market
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and driving performance improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across multiple departments.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe when required.
