Full Job Description

  • We are looking for a enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic physiotherapy team.
  • We are a very friendly, supportive team who are keen to recruit a physiotherapy assistant who is keen to support a varied caseload as a physiotherapy technician, looking to further expand their knowledge and skills.
  • We actively encourage in-service training and recognise the value of supervision and appraisal., To manage the rehabilitation of specific uncomplicated Patients.
  • Working without direct supervision, being responsible for assessing
  • Patient progress and reporting back to the Physiotherapist as required.
  • Instruct Patients and their carers, providing direction and guidance on a range of Physiotherapy activities.
  • To deliver an individual Physiotherapy treatment programme based on set protocols, evidence based practise and treatment options using assessment skills and knowledge e.g. Patient education and exercises.
  • Encourage Patients and their carers in an active approach to regaining and maintaining personal independence.
  • Attend ward based multi-disciplinary team meetings and participate in the clinical decision making process towards discharge planning.
  • To liaise with next of kin regarding patient collateral
