Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU) for a permanent Band 7 Team Lead Physiotherapist.
CERU is a Level 1 Specialist Neurological Rehabilitation Unit providing expert interdisciplinary rehabilitation for patients with acquired brain injuries and other complex neurological conditions. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated physiotherapist with a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centred care and leading teams to achieve outstanding rehabilitation outcomes.
The successful candidate will provide clinical and operational leadership to the Physiotherapy Team, supporting the delivery of specialist rehabilitation services and driving excellence in patient care. Working closely with the Physiotherapy Pathway Lead, multidisciplinary colleagues and fellow Team Leads, you will play a key role in service development, workforce development and quality improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to further develop their leadership skills within a specialist rehabilitation environment, contributing to the ongoing success and development of one of the region's leading neurorehabilitation services.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to patients in area of specialism
To work in conjunction with the Pathway lead in planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the service area on a day to day basis.
To take a lead role in the provision of support, clinical supervision and highly specialist advice to less experienced physiotherapy staff and undergraduate students within the physiotherapy department.
