Physiotherapy Lead Goring Hall Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £51,900.00 per year Goring Hall Hospital in West Sussex is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy Lead to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include:
- Lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy care across all relevant clinical areas.
- Maintain a specialist caseload, providing expert assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation planning.
- Support complex case management, clinical supervision, and decision-making across the team.
- Provide line management and clinical supervision to physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
- Support staff development through appraisals, training, mentorship, and CPD planning.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture aligned with organisational values.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the physiotherapy service, including staff rotas, clinic planning, and workload allocation. Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Significant post-registration experience, including advanced clinical and leadership responsibilities.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage physiotherapy services independently effectively.
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills with experience growing outpatient activity and consultant relationships.
- Experience in supervising staff and supporting service improvement.
- Postgraduate qualification in a physiotherapy specialty or healthcare leadership.
- Experience working in private healthcare or across multiple specialties.
- Experience with clinical governance processes, KPI reporting, recruitment and digital systems.
