Physiotherapy Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Care of the Elderly Physiotherapy Team at North Tyneside General Hospital. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about supporting older adults to regain and maintain their independence during their hospital stay. You will work closely with Physiotherapistsand the wider multidisciplinary team across a number of wards to deliver high-quality rehabilitation and promote safe, timely discharge from hospital. The successful candidate will play a key role in encouraging mobility, physical activity and engagement in rehabilitation.,

• To be accountable to a specialist team leader and ultimately site manager.
• To work predominantly within an identified client group but be prepared to work flexibly acrossthe service.
