Summary
The role will involve: carrying out exercise and mobility programmes assisting physiotherapists with treatment sessions, including hydrotherapy, running exercise groups using specialist equipment such as standing frames, walking harnesses, treadmills, and wheelchair accessible exercise bikes, supporting the team with administrative tasks, and maintaining a tidy and functional gym. Understanding the wider effects of brain injury on physical rehabilitation. Training will be provided, and you will be supported to develop within the role through regular supervision. You will also be part of a wider multidisciplinary team of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists, Doctors, Nurses, Rehabilitation Technicians, and Rehabilitation Assistants.
