Are you looking for an opportunity to further your career in a supportive Outpatient Therapy Department?
The Therapy Department has a wide range of facilities including a gym for rehab classes and a hydrotherapy pool. This is an ideal opportunity to develop your skills in the management of a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions; to include trauma, post-surgical rehab, rheumatology, pain management.
We are looking for forward-thinking, team-orientated physiotherapist to join our friendly, supportive team, you will be working alongside other physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and therapy assistant practitioner. We are committed to developing our staff in a happy working environment with support, supervision and teaching from our Clinical Team Leaders., This is a senior physiotherapist post requiring significant post graduate experience.
The post holder will be responsible for rapid response, advanced assessment & treatment of complex and /or chronic presentations and will provide highly specialist advice for patients within the hospital and community setting and teaching and training to therapy colleagues working in other clinical areas, and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder will be responsible for supervision and training of other therapy staff including rotational band 5 staff, Therapy assistants and students.
The post holder will also undertake a co-ordinating role in the delivery of the therapy service within their specific clinical area on a day-to-day basis and this will include the provision of a 7-day therapy service in our clinical specialities.
