Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for applicants interested in gaining experience working in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy here at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The is advertised post is a 9-month, fixed term, 22 hours per week contract. The role based in Musculoskeletal Outpatients as part of the North Tyneside Musculoskeletal Service (NTIMS). Patients will be will be referred from a variety of sources including ED, WIC, and the orthopaedic consultant team. CPD is actively encouraged within our teams and training is supervised by Senior Physiotherapy clinicians supporting staff to achieve their individual learning outcomes supported by a robust appraisal system. This post is based at North Tyneside General Hospital but staff may be required to work across the Trust. There are no on-call / weekend commitments associated with the current role.,
- The junior rotational scheme operates throughout the trust and involves working in a wide range of clinical teams including musculo-skeletal, orthopaedics, general medicine, elderly care, neurology, rehabilitation, surgery and ITU, paediatrics, women's health and front of house.
- Rotations are set at six monthly intervals to provide broad range of post graduate experience.
- Junior staff are accountable to a Team Leader and ultimately site clinical manager.
