Full Job Description
Located within picturesque grounds, Priory Hospital Hemel Hempstead supports the NHS by offering level 2 rehabilitation services for male and female patients with severe and enduring mental health needs. We also provide specialist Huntington's disease and dementia care for people living with these neurodegenerative conditions, as well as neuropsychiatry support., You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
- Assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy treatments tailored to patients individual needs and conditions.
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurses, and other multidisciplinary team members to support holistic patient care.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly, and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Provide advice, education, and rehabilitation programs to support patients recovery and functional independence.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives within the physiotherapy department.
