An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our Acute Care Therapy Team (ACTT). The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of predominantly elderly and frail patients across various clinical settings including the Emergency Department and assessment areas.

You will be supported by working closely with a team of qualified Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy colleagues along with support staff. The team have enhanced skills, and you will receive training to achieve dual therapy competencies., The team are committed to delivering high standards of care across the acute care pathway.
We are seeking applicants with knowledge and experience of current developments and drivers within the wider healthcare setting, around frailty, admissions avoidance and emergency care.
The Trust is committed to supporting and developing staff through appraisals and the supervision process. Senior staff have individual supervision and peer support as well as access to training.
Hours will be worked to support 7-day service delivery between the hours of 08:00 - 20:00, including weekends and bank holidays; therefore, flexibility around working patterns will be required. Flexible full and part time hours will be considered., Please note that successful external candidates will be required to pay for their own DBS Disclosure. The cost will be deducted from the first salary payment. Further details of the Disclosure and Barring Service check will be confirmed upon offer of employment.
