Full Job Description
The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
We are looking for a Student Content Creator/Photographer to support the Experience Maths at Manchester Metropolitan University and The University of Manchester event on Wednesday 24 June 2026.
The role will involve taking high-quality photos that capture visiting students taking part in Maths taster activities, workshops, campus tours, and wider student engagement across both the Manchester Met and University of Manchester campuses. The photographer will need to move between both sites during the event, so applicants should be comfortable walking between campus locations and working flexibly in a busy event environment., This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide their own equipment.
We are looking for an unobtrusive photographer who can put students at their ease, and take a selection of candid shots showing students enjoying the sessions, collaborating, engaging with each other and staff.
Should any students need to be excluded from photography, these will be identified to you and care will need to be taken to ensure they are omitted from the final images.
For information, the students taking part will be from local colleges and interested in studying mathematics. The event will showcase the facilities at both Man Met and UoM., Manchester Metropolitan University is committed to supporting the rights, responsibilities, dignity, health and wellbeing of staff and students through our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
