Are you interested in making a step into a leadership role in Public Health Nursing? We have a great opportunity for an aspiring Health Visitor to move into team leader role. You will be joining the existing Team Lead for St Albans to lead and support a skill mixed team to effectively and safely deliver the Healthy Child Programme. You will be proactive and innovative, like a challenge and enjoy working as part of a team. You will be supported by senior leadership and the wider Trust to grow and thrive in your Team Leader role. You will be joining a service that prides itself on delivering a quality, needs led service, which is able to support improvement and innovative projects Your work will continue to benefit children and families, and you will retain your SCPHN qualification, and have access the iHV for inspiration amongst other benefits.
- Proposed interview date: 28th September 2026 You will contribute to the strategic direction, supporting the continued integration of pathways, and take a lead role in facilitating effective positive partnerships with key stake holders. You will lead on productivity, efficiency and clinical outcomes across the Public Health Nursing 0-5 team and will implement improvement plans where appropriate. HCT will prioritise recruitment of workers living in England under the new immigration rules for care workers effective from 9 April 2025. Employers must first prove that they have attempted to recruit a worker from within England who needs new sponsorship.
