At Unity Healthcare we are looking for a compassionate, experienced and highly organised Phlebotomist to join our friendly and supportive primary care team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in patient care by delivering high-quality blood collection services across our four sites (Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford) and supporting the wider clinical team in providing excellent healthcare to our local community.

As a valued member of our practice, you will work closely with clinical staff and administrative colleagues to ensure patients receive a safe, efficient and positive experience. If you are passionate about helping people, enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare setting and want to be part of a practice that values and supports its staff, we would love to hear from you., The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, efficient and professional phlebotomy service to our patients, ensuring samples are collected, labelled and processed accurately. You will work closely with the wider clinical team to support patient care, maintain clinical standards and contribute to the smooth running of our treatment room services. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a caring approach, as you will regularly support patients who may be anxious about blood tests. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, adhering to infection prevention and control procedures, managing clinical stock within your area of work and helping to ensure an excellent patient experience at all times. As part of a multidisciplinary practice team, you will be expected to work collaboratively and contribute to the delivery of high-quality primary care services.

Suffolk GP Federation CIC is a not-for-profit community interest company. Our main purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk including support with working collaboratively and at scale. We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk and North East Essex, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, Diabetes, as well as urgent Care Services including the Out of Hours face-to-face Service in Suffolk.
