Full Job Description
Are you looking for a new rewarding position working alongside a fantastically supportive team who consistently rate their job satisfaction highly?, We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our very well-established All Age Eating Disorders Service . We have a part time (22.5 hours per week) vacancy to work 3 days a week - Wed - Friday. You will play an important role, under the guidance of a qualified GP, providing and delivering phlebotomy, ECG and routine physical monitoring to child and adult patients referred to eating disorders and mental health services. You will provide quality, care and support which enables patients to be supported with a recovery focus throughout their care episode, whilst promoting independence and protecting choice, dignity, privacy, and safety. All necessary training will be provided. Our service covers the county of Berkshire. Requirement for the role is to work on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
- The postholder will berequiredto perform a range ofvenepuncturetechniques and will work without direct supervision.
- The postholder will berequiredto perform ECG and other routine physical monitoring observations.
- The postholder isrequiredto liaise with clinicians, other healthcare professionals including laboratory staff, with patients and their representatives and with commercial suppliers.
