Phlebotomist

The post holder will be responsible for providing a high-level of phlebotomist duties to include but not limited to collecting blood samples from patients on the wards as required and within the Main Outpatients Department. The post holder will be expected to appropriately manage confidential, complex and sensitive information concerning patients exercising discretion whilst always upholding high professional and ethical standards. The post holder will be required to work as part of a team but also to use own initiative when required, and to escalate any concerns when necessary., Experience of working in a care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided.Full details of duties can be found in the job description.There will be an expectation of a flexible approach to shifts patterns with a commitment to participate in the on call service after appropriate training.Please be advised - this vacancy may close early if we reach a sufficient amount of applications.
