Phlebotomist

The post is suitable for an individual who wish to develop clinical skills to support the specialty teams by delivering quality care by providing Phlebotomy Services. We are a large and busy unit providing services to multiple specialties and you will work closely with the Nursing and Medical Staff within Outpatients., The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of safe and effective care, working at Freeman Hospital. Phlebotomists perform venepuncture and blood collection as requested by Medical/Nursing Staff. They ensure blood samples are labelled correctly and returned to the laboratory in a timely fashion.
