Pharmacy Technician

We are looking to recruit motivated and professional Pharmacy Technicians to our team. Are you currently working in a community pharmacy and want to challenge yourself in a hospital setting? • Medicines management at ward level including:
+ Ordering inpatient medication + Identifying patients who are being discharged. + Completing accurate medicines histories for inpatients + Providing medicines counselling for both inpatient and discharge medication. + Completing discharge prescriptions at ward level. + Ensuring patients have a supply of medicines whilst an inpatient. + Stock control and review of ward stock holdings. + Training and supervision of pre-registration pharmacy technicians, entry level pharmacy technicians and other support staff
• Dispensary based activities including, dispensing and accuracy checking medication.
