Pharmacy Technician

Law Medical is seeking to recruit a Pharmacy Technician to join its multidisciplinary primary care team. The role will support the safe, effective, and cost-efficient management of medicines within the practice, working closely with GPs, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals., The Pharmacy Technician will support medicines optimisation processes, including prescription management, medication reconciliation, and audits, while providing technical and administrative support related to medicines use. The post holder will also play an active role in supporting the wider multidisciplinary team and contributing to the ongoing development and objectives of the practice., The Pharmacy Technician will support Structured Medication Reviews (SMRs) under the supervision of a pharmacist or GP, reconcile medicines following hospital discharges or outpatient visits, and provide patients with guidance on the safe and effective use of their medications. They will manage and process repeat prescriptions, conduct medicines audits, and assist with technical and administrative tasks across the practice teams. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring effective communication within the multidisciplinary team to support high-quality patient care.

The practice operates across two sites; Willesden (main site), Wembley (branch site).

The practice have under new management undergone a significant amount of changes in the last two years, including the recent merger with another local practice.
