Pharmacy Store Keeper

The Pharmacy at St Peter's Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and well organised individual to join our department as a Pharmacy Storekeeper.

We are a busy Pharmacy department and your role will involve you supporting the Pharmacy team by receiving and processing deliveries into the Pharmacy stores.

You will be working in a team alongside another Pharmacy Storekeper as well as Pharmacy Assistants, Senior Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists. The core working hours are 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday., The post holder will support Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists by receiving and unloading all deliveries to Pharmacy including bulk pallet deliveries of IV fluids and feeds whilst ensuring the security of the goods at all times. You will be expected to enter delivery details onto the pharmacy computer operating system while maintaining good stock control throughout the Pharmacy stores to minimise wastage.

You will carry out your duties supervised by qualified staff and contribute to the development of pharmacy services. You will promote the highest of standards of professional practice, whilst observing at all times the "statement on professional Conduct" issued by the GPhC.

You will be required to follow all legal and departmental practices including Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) as well as COSHH and lifting and handling regulations and all Trust Policies and Procedures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to be able to effectively work alongside staff of all grades throughout the Hospital. You will be hard working and keen to learn and have the ability to prioritise work.
