Pharmacy Higher Procurement Officer

To ensure the efficient and timely procurement of medicines for the Northumbria Trust as a whole and to provide supervision and guidance to the Pharmacy Procurement Officers with emphasis on Homecare Medicines Service.,

• To contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of medicines to all patients and customers.
• To process orders and invoices and provide guidance and leadership to a team of procurement officers with an emphasis on Homecare Services.
• To manage the workflow of the Pharmacy Homecare Team ensuring that prescriptions, invoices and queries are processed in a timely manner.
• To work directly with the Pharmacy Technician Specialist for Medicines Homecare and help resolve issues when necessary.
