Pharmacy Dispenser - Chilton

Location: Chilton Pharmacy, Chilton, County Durham, DL17 0HQ



IntraHealth is one of the UK's leading providers of NHS Primary and Community Care services. We serve a range of patients across our three divisions of Primary Care (general practice), Pharmacy and Clinical Services which includes anticoagulation monitoring, patient medication reviews and childhood immunisation programmes.


We also provide management and clinical support to other GP practices and NHS bodies. We are a well-established organisation having provided NHS services since the company was founded in 1999. Our team is made up of GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Nurses, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Health Care Assistants (HCAs) and local administration teams supported by a centralised back office function; providing finance, HR, administration and data analysis support.


We operate NHS services across the North East, North West and Yorkshire.


We have an exciting opportunity to join our pharmacy team as a dispenser. This role involves the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, as well as providing health advice and services to our patients.


We are seeking a qualified and/or experienced professional who is an exceptional team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to becoming a valued member of our Pharmacy team.


We are passionate about supporting the ongoing training and development of our colleagues and are committed to helping individuals reach their full potential. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate is fully supported in their role.


We have great benefits too; you will receive 30 days per year of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro/rata). We also offer a staff discount scheme in our pharmacies and an enhanced pension scheme.
