Pharmacy Dispenser

We are looking for a reliable, organised, and patient-focused Pharmacy Dispenser to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will support the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions, provide excellent customer service, and work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. The role involves preparing and dispensing medicines accurately, handling prescription queries, maintaining stock, and ensuring that all pharmacy procedures and legal requirements are followed. The ideal candidate will be reliable, caring, approachable, conscientious, and patient-focused, with a genuine interest in supporting the health and wellbeing of patients. Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and dispense medicines under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Label and package medicines correctly and safely.
• Provide friendly and professional service to patients and customers.
• Answer routine medication-related queries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Manage pharmacy stock, including ordering, receiving, rotating, and storing medicines.
• Check expiry dates and maintain appropriate storage conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
• Follow pharmacy procedures, confidentiality requirements, and health and safety standards.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient dispensary.
• Liaise with GP surgeries, care homes, suppliers, and other healthcare professionals when required.
