Full Job Description

Undertakes duties in support of the Pharmacists and other Technical Staff. Assists in the provision of a safe and effective pharmaceutical service in order to meet department and corporate objectives. This role can be offered as a developmental post for those initially employed at band 2. Candidates must meet the apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria as set out by the Department of Education.

  • Reception duties within the department
  • Receipt and storage of medications
  • Provide a ward stock topping up service to wards and departments
  • Dispensing pharmaceutical products
  • Contribute to 7 day service, Bank Holidays and Late Night Rotas
  • Undertake NVQ level 2 in Pharmaceutical Services
