Pharmacy Assistant for Distribution

The post holder will be responsible for supplying stocked medicines to Omnicell cabinets, completing manual top-ups for items stored outside of Omnicell, and participating in the Omnicell cycle count rota. They will support the effective inventory management of pharmacy stock and assist with the safe receipt, storage, and supply of pharmaceutical items in line with departmental procedures and Good Distribution Practice.

Full training is provided, including a GPhC-accredited Level 2 Medicines Stock Assistant qualification (or equivalent). There are excellent opportunities to develop and progress into senior pharmacy assistant roles within the department. • Restock ward medicine cabinets using the Omnicell system
• Support the supply of medicines across the hospital
• Help maintain pharmacy equipment and stock accuracy
