Pharmacy Assistant - Bank Staff

You will be part of a small but important and essential pharmacy team. We provide a high standard of service to the Trust caring for our patients who receive medication via our homecare service. You will help assist the team in the management of Homecare prescriptions which includes ensuring that the relevant information is added to local databases and that prescriptions and invoices are processed in a timely manner. You will also assist in Immunoglobulin treatments dispensed at the Trust and other Hospitals across our region and help maintain National and Trust immunoglobulin records.

Computer experience would be an advantage, with some Excel and Word skills. You will be trained to use the Pharmacy dispensing computer system, national immunoglobulin and other High Cost Drug databases. You should enjoy working as part of a team, but must also be capable of working independently. You must also be accurate, numerate, highly organised, have high attention to detail and possess good communication skills.
