Have you got experience of working as a clinical pharmacist, managing a patient caseload and being part of a multidisciplinary team?
  • Would you like a role that doesn't involve routine weekend, evening or bank holiday working?
  • Have you ever thought about working within community based sexual health services?
  • If you answered yes, then we may just have the perfect role for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic pharmacist and who has an interest in working in our HIV service; prior experience is wonderful, but not always essential as full training will be provided. Your existing clinical skills will be fully utilised supporting patients, where co-morbidity and polypharmacy will need to be considered alongside their HIV treatment. We have a well-established multi-disciplinary HIV team including consultants, specialist nurses and pharmacy colleagues who have a broad range of skills and expertise. Our Sexual Health service covers the Hampshire and Isle of Wight; we are a very busy, interesting, and innovative service. You will provide expert advice at a specialist level on HIV pharmaceutical matters for our service and will regularly provide training for our Sexual Health clinicians, patient groups and our organisational pharmacy staff. Based either at Bitterne Health Centre, Southampton or St Marys Hospital, Portsmouth. Travel to other sites will be required on an ad-hoc basis. If this type of role interests you, we would love to hear from you!
