Full Job Description

Newcastle City Council are seeking an experienced, strategic and highly motivated PFI Partnerships Manager to lead the Council's Property PFI team and oversee the management of its Private Finance Initiative (PFI) programmes. This is a leadership role with responsibility for ensuring the effective management, governance and performance of the Council's property-related PFI contracts. As a key member of the Property Services leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in preparing for contract expiry and hand back, developing future property management arrangements, and ensuring the Council secures the best possible outcomes for its assets and communities. The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team of technical and non-technical professionals, you will provide specialist advice on PFI, PPP and property matters, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, industry best practice and the Council's strategic objectives. You will work closely with senior leaders, elected members, government departments, NHS organisations, schools, academies and private sector partners, building strong relationships to support the successful delivery of complex programmes that have a lasting impact across the city.
