Full Job Description
A Personal Wellbeing Assistant will provide all aspects of care in a person's own home. This may include personal care, assist with medication, support with meals and drinks You will be required to have a genuine interest and commitment to providing high quality care and support to adults in promoting their privacy, dignity, choice and independence. Also, from within the council you will offered a comprehensive framework of core skills and knowledge. A rolling programme of induction and accredited training opportunities will build your confidence and enable you to reach your full potential.
We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic and self-motivated Personal Wellbeing Assistants to join our strong Community Enablement team. These are part time positions only, working 21 hours per week and therefore the salary will be pro rata. You will be required to work on a rota basis which will include weekends. These posts are for evening shifts only 4 pm - 10 pm. The role will require you to be able to travel across the city. You must be able to drive and have your own vehicle. Are you caring?
