Full Job Description
Do you have a calm and patient personality and a good sense of humour? Do you have an understanding of autism and the importance of nutrition? I am an adult male with a generous and helpful disposition. I have a diagnosis of autism. I am also diabetic and follow a gluten free diet. I love visiting cafes and garden centres. I like to ride my bike and I love to go fishing. I also have an interest in cars and dogs. I am looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Personal Assistant to support me to plan activities and access my local community. I would like to increase my confidence and social resilience and hopefully build new friendships. Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience of providing support and care.
- Awareness, understanding and ideally experience of diabetes management
- An awareness and understanding of autism.
- Driving licence essential
5.6 weeks' holiday per year - Sick pay at SSP rate (if applicable)
- Training provided
- Flexible working hours and days
- DBS certificate paid for
