Personal Assistant / Support Worker

A Personal Assistant is required to support my 7-year-old son with ASD to access the community for 3 hours per week and 1 overnight 5pm - 9am per month in my home at a rate of £14.31 per hour and £12.42 per hour (overnight rate)

My son is non-verbal but will use gestures to communicate and will require your full attention, especially when outdoors to ensure his safety. My son enjoys being outside, he loves trampolining, water play, swings, slides, and other physical activities.

I am looking for someone to take him out on Saturdays or Sunday for play activities and to eat. There may also be occasions when play at home will be required.

Applicants must have experience/understanding of working with children with ASD and possess the ability to deal with behaviours associated with children with limited communication. This includes providing one to one attention when outdoors as he will at times pose a flight risk.
