Full Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, caring individual who has great people skills to become a personal assistant for a young man in Rossendale. The role is to support a young man with personal care needs and to be able to access the community safely. Our client is very energetic and loves to go for walks. He also enjoys horse riding, swimming and rock climbing. Experience of supporting individuals who have autism/ADHD is desirable along with knowledge and awareness of epilepsy. Duties will include:
- Personal care - including showering.
- Support with taking medication (on occasion)
- Ensuring our client is safe when out in the community.
- Preparing meals (on occasion) Hours available - 10 per week. Hourly rate - £12.21 with a view to increase upon completion of probationary period. There is a requirement to work flexibly. Car driver is essential. (including proof of business cover)
