Full Job Description
I am looking for a Personal Assistant to join me in helping me with my daily activities. The right Personal Assistant for me would be able to work alongside me and allow me to stay in control. I enjoy going out into the local community. I enjoy music and eating vegan food.
All applicants should be Female Only, this is in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010
Wage:
£12.71 per hour
Hours:
12 hours per week. Used flexibly to suit both me and the successful PA.
Duties will include:
Personal Care Supervision
Light domestic duties
Cooking with me
Shopping
Help with attending social activities
Escorting to medical appointments
Applicants must be
Reliable
Able to maintain confidentiality and be trustworthy
Punctual
Non-smoker
Have excellent communication skills
Consistent and reliable
Willing to use public transport with me
Able to lift a lightweight wheelchair
Have a willingness to learn
Be prepared to attend training courses with and without me
Music lover
Able to cook
Desirable criteria:
Hold a full, clean licence with a wheelchair accessible vehicle or one big enough for a lightweight wheelchair
Able to cook Vegan Food
Understanding of Neurodivergence
Understanding of Mental Health including PTSD and anxiety
Understanding of ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis)
Understanding of EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome)
Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate
Hold a First Aid Certificate
