Personal Assistant for young adult female

We are looking for a caring, patient and reliable Personal Assistant/Support Worker to provide support to a young female adult with epilepsy, autism and additional needs. Someone who can build a trusting and positive relationship with her while respecting her individual needs, preferences and routines.

Providing support with daily living and personal care where required.

Supporting with daily routines and activities.

Encouraging independence and helping her to develop and maintain life skills.

Providing companionship and emotional reassurance.

Supporting her to access activities and appointments within the community.

Helping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

Supporting communication and understanding where needed.

Being aware of her individual needs and recognising signs that she may be becoming overwhelmed or distressed.

Following agreed care and support plans, including epilepsy-related guidance.

Communicating appropriately with family members and the wider support team.

Maintaining confidentiality, dignity and professional boundaries.
