Summary

Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 12-year boy who lives in Callington.

He has Autism and he would like someone who he can build up a positive relationship with and provide him with some 1:1 support.

He would like someone to support him accessing activities in his local community with his family.

He loves being outdoors, trains, Lego and sport.

Rate of pay £12.60 per hour.

Up to 6 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.

Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.

Car driver preferred.

Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.

The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check; this administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
