I am a lady in my 50's in long-term recovery from a car crash and negotiating life with injuries including brain injury which causes hypersensitivity, fatigue, pain etc. I love the outdoors and nature and enjoy reading and crafting.
I am looking for a calm, kind and patient Assistant who has the flexibility and time to support me when I need transport for occasional longer drives and more local ones to attend appointments, visit friends and with shopping etc. I will need help with lifting shopping etc. errands to buy/collect things etc.
I find some sounds and light difficult and some situations overwhelming so someone who is sympathetic and forward thinking is essential. I have a well-behaved medium sized dog who will need to come with me on some journeys. She is happy to travel in the footwell or boot.
A confident careful driver with access to their own vehicle is essential. A larger vehicle like a people carrier or SUV type would be ideal as smaller vehicles tend to be difficult due to my injuries, however it is possible a smaller heavier smooth car might work fine for me.
