Personal Assistant / carer

The Role: To support a young professional gentleman living with Muscular Dystrophy, who enjoys television/film, travelling, music and sport to live an exciting and fulfilling life. The position is for a bank worker to cover annual leave and sickness shifts. Main Duties:

• To provide all aspects of personal care
• To use a hoist
• To support to maintain a hygienic home (including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up etc)
• Food and drink preparation
  
  Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
• Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy
• Respectful of dignity and independence
• Good communication skills and social skills
• Punctual, and flexible
• Suitable for a casual working environment but always remaining professional.
• Respectful of the home and family environment and the routine
• Driving licence essential to be able to use employer's vehicle

Hours: Day hours - between 08.30am - 8.30pm and night shifts - 8.30pm - 8.30am - a mix of these hours will require cover. Hourly Rate: £15.00 per hour Holidays: 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata) including Bank holidays
