  Additional Information

  I am seeking a compassionate and reliable personal assistant/buddy to support my 27-year-old son in accessing the community. He is on the autism spectrum, has Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and learning difficulties.

  He enjoys walking, swimming, and engaging in art projects.

  If you are interested in making a positive impact and helping my 27-year-old son enjoy his favourite activities, please get in touch!

  Duties include:

  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Accompany him to access the community by going on walks and swimming

  Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
  • Patience and understanding of autism and PDA
  • Experience of dealing with autism & PDA essential
