personal assistant

I am a 44-year-old woman living in Taffs Well. I have a number of health conditions, including lymphoedema, which affects my mobility and daily routine. Because of this, I wear compression socks and require assistance each morning to put them on, as well as support with showering. I use an electric wheelchair but can walk around my home., I'm looking to hire a personal assistant for home-based duties., Every Saturday, there are also times if available where I would need you to cover my other PA if she is ever off sick or on holidays

Morning and tea time call = 1 hour 45 mins per day.

RATES OF PAY

£15.30 per hour

TASKS WILL INCLUDE

Assisting me with household duties. washing, dressing, cooking, changing bedding and taking the bins out

Putting on / taking off my compression stockings

Applying cream

Preparing meals

Washing up dishes

Changing the bedding as and when required

Taking out the bins

Personal care when showering.

ABOUT THE JOB

This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.

All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.

Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.

Wages will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.

I am a friendly and sociable person who enjoys spending time with others and having a good chat. I have a great sense of humour and enjoy building positive relationships with people who support me.

My interests include arts and crafts, watching movies, listening to music, and swimming. I enjoy getting out and about when I can and would like support from someone who is patient, kind, reliable, and understands the importance of promoting my independence while providing the assistance I need.
