Personal Assistant

Hours: Total support 4 hours per week, times can be very flexible throughout the week by arrangement. 2 days of 2 hours. Client has requested possible sharing of hours between 2 PA's, We are looking for a friendly, bubbly, reliable and confident female Self-Employed Personal Assistant/s to engage with and provide companionship to a pleasant and sociable gentleman who lives at home with elderly mother.

This gentleman suffers from high levels of anxiety and finds it difficult now to go out into the community unaccompanied. He is searching for the right person to help him access local community facilities and engage in activities, or just to simply share a chat and a drink and enjoy their company in a café. The client also likes to use the facilities at the local library, or will decide what activity he wishes to do on the day - the ability to be spontaneous would be an advantage.

The aim is that you will get to know this gentleman and develop a trusting working relationship, so you can provide a safe and consistent support whilst out in the community.

About the Role

The successful candidate/s will spend time with this gentleman, either conversing with him, or supporting him to undertake activities he enjoys, and just to be a safe and reassuring presence while out and about.

You will need to able to support this gentleman out of the house, so you need to drive and hold business insurance to use your own vehicle to transport this gentleman at times.
