Summary

I'm a gregarious 7-year-old boy who is home-schooled in Swansea. I can be shy at first while getting to know new people, then tend to be chatty and full of fun. Painting and clay modelling makes me smile but my special interests involve coding and Minecraft gaming. Pokémon & Mario feature quite heavily in my play and I may need encouragement to play outdoors. My natural curiosity and impulsivity mean I can switch from topic to topic quickly!

Rate of pay

£13.50

Essential:

• Have previous experience in working with young children with additional learning needs.
• Have a fun-loving nature with loads of patience.
• Willingness to talk about & play Switch games.

Desirable

I will need my PA to:

• Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
• Be confident, mature and have patience.
• Be dependable and arrive on time.
• Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
• Be adaptable and flexible.
• Be supportive but not take over.
• Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.

Concerning the position

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
