Personal Assistant

I am a young lady who is looking to employ a Personal Assistant for 18 hours per week.,

• Support and/or prompt with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.
• Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
• Support and/or prompt to attend appointments as necessary, e.g. hospital/doctors.
• Support with food shopping.
• Assist and encourage socialisation, participating in activities.
• Promote and encourage friendships and independence.
• Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.
The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required. You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.

I am seeking a friendly, patient, and supportive person to help me build my confidence and maintain my independence, particularly when accessing the local community. While I am able to understand and complete tasks independently, I would benefit from encouragement and reassurance when going out and engaging in social situations. Within my home, I do not require personal care or someone to carry out tasks on my behalf. Instead, I am looking for someone who can provide motivational support and encouragement while I complete everyday activities myself, such as household cleaning and other domestic tasks. An important part of this role is being a good listener. I would value having someone who is approachable, understanding, and able to offer a listening ear when needed. As my confidence grows, I would like support to access a wider range of social activities, become more involved in the community, and develop my ability to interact comfortably with others in public settings. The ideal Personal Assistant will be: Friendly, patient, and encouraging. A good listener with excellent communication skills. Reliable, trustworthy, and supportive. Confident in supporting someone to access the community and social activities. Able to promote independence while providing reassurance and motivation.
