Full Job Description
SU will cover travel costs for outings. This support aims to help SU remain active in the community, continue engaging in activities that are meaningful and maintain independence. Experience of supporting people living with dementia would be desirable, although a caring, reliable and person-centred approach is the most important requirement.
Social Duties: To accompany in the community for social outings. Would prefer someone with a car to drive from home to different places. Someone who has experience working with dementia but no essential
Qualifications: None specifically required, but NVQ 2 or higher in Adult Social Care would be beneficial.
DBS is essential but not necessarily. It is important to have a DBS check when working with children- this will be completed before starting work.
Skills & Experience: Experience of Dementia useful but not essential
