Full Job Description

I am a 19-year-old young woman living in the Penarth area with my Mum and sister, my guinea pigs and my cat.

I am autistic and also have ARFID, anxiety and depression. I can sometimes find certain situations challenging, so I am looking for a kind, patient and understanding Personal Assistant who can support me in a calm and reassuring way.

I enjoy playing video games, making videos, animation and I attend an art club. I also have a Tamagotchi, which I really enjoy.

Purpose of the Job

The main purpose of this role is to support me at home and with travelling to and from college.

Initially, I will need support during the afternoons while I settle into college and then I'll attend at 9:30am to 3:30pm., Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).
