Personal Assistant

Your role is support me to remain independent within my own home. My independence is extremely important to me.

Male, fifty-four years of age, requires assistance with day-to-day tasks and activities.

I do not have incontinence issues, so I do not require any personal care. I still wash, mobilise and dress myself, although on bad days, I may require a little help mobilising.

You must like animals., Proactive in situations and be able to problem solve on your own initiative

You will know how to manage a home and keep on top of what's required to keep it clean

Experience with progressive conditions preferred, either personal or work-related

You must be flexible, understanding that shifts, days and times may change with short notice

Respectful towards my need for independence

A car owner/driver who is willing to use car for work purposes/take me on outing

Must have a clean driver's licence

This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.

All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.

Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.

Wages will be paid on a 4 weekly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
