Personal Assistant

A lovely lady living in Darlington is looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to provide support in her own home and help her remain independent, comfortable and able to enjoy her everyday life.

This is a varied and rewarding role, and we're looking for someone who is young at heart, friendly, approachable and has a good sense of humour. Most importantly, you should be someone who enjoys building a genuine relationship with the person you support.

What will you be doing?

The role will involve providing practical and personal support within her home, including:

· Helping with household tasks, such as laundry, tidying and light cleaning

· Supporting her with getting dressed and preparing for the day

· Providing assistance with medication

· Helping with walking her dog and other aspects of caring for her much-loved pet

· Offering companionship

· Helping her with everyday tasks and activities around the home

· Encouraging and supporting her to remain as independent as possible

· Being there to provide a friendly face, a helping hand and a little bit of company throughout the day

Calling all dog lovers!

A genuine love of dogs is important for this role, as she has a very friendly French Bulldog who is an important part of her life.

You don't need to be an expert dog handler, but you should be comfortable around dogs and happy to help with walks and general care.
