Personal Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant to provide essential assistance and support to the individual in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care positions. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting the client with daily tasks including personal care (i.e. hygiene, dressing and meal preparation)
• Administering medication following prescribed schedules
  
  o Shifts are available every other Friday from 9:00am until 21.30pm and every other Saturday from 9:00am until 21.30pm
o You will be required to cover annual leave and sickness, plus occasional over night shifts o There is the possibility of additional hours being offered in the future
• Pay rate during the 6-month probationary period is £13.26 per hour. Upon successful completion of the probation period, this will increase to:
o Day rate: £14.02 per hour o Evening (from 17.30pm) and night rate: £15.63 per hour
• Annual leave: The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
• Expenses: You will be reimbursed for prior agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
• Sick pay: I do not operate a private sick pay scheme but provided you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
• Pension: I do not operate a private pension scheme but I will fulfil my statutory obligations via the NEST pension scheme.
