About the Employer

To support my son who has autism and is non-verbal. Has a history of epileptic episodes, last one was January 2025. This would involve 1:1 adult support to personal care needs as he uses nappies and pants and has no awareness of toilet needs. Uses PECS to communicate wants and needs. Able to understand stop and no verbal commands, obeys most of the time. Plays with objects happily. Likes to play outside and on the trampoline. He has his own playroom downstairs and his bedroom upstairs. He has sensory issues therefore may put dangerous things in his mouth; close supervision required. Hyperactive and energetic. Always likes to eat his favourite foods, has a large appetite, and will protest when not given.
